To be a Florida Certified General Contractor the applicant must be approved by the Florida Construction Industry Board operating under the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. This specific license allows us to work anywhere in Florida with no limit in the type of construction, repair, alteration, remodeling or improvement of any structure or building type. In order to become a certified general contractor the individual must pass an examination, have a FICO approved credit score, provide proof of education and experience, secure general liability insurance, secure workers compensation insurance and undergo a background check which includes fingerprinting.
